For a 500 gram batch I used the following:
AP: 367.5 grams, 73.5%
R45M: 56.25 grams, 11.25%
Al: 50 grams, 10%
DOA: 18.75 grams, 3.75%
Mondur MR: 7.5 grams, 1.5%
This batch was hand mixed, and not degassed. I have a theory; with thick propellants degassing may actually decrease the density do the bubbles created by the degassing process. The propellant is so thick the bubbles created can not escape. I also think mechanical mixing may add more bubbles to the mixture as well.
The grains were cast into (4) 1.5" PVC pipe sections 2.5" long.
