I fully understand there are precious few of us, and we are widely scattered across the globe, so I don't expect dozens of people to take me up on this. But if you live in this part of the Midwest and need a place to fly, here it is.
There will be no membership dues, no insurance, no certifications, just flying rockets and testing motors. I am however, concerned about launch site safety, as such I have made up a launch safety code that I will adhere to. You can see the Safety Code here.
In short, a few things I have in the Safety Code you should know if you want to fly with me. I will want to see a print out from the software you use to determine rocket stability. For experimental motors "K" class and above a thrust/time curve from a static test. I'll also want some proof of previous experience before allowing flights of "I" class or greater. I cringe when I hear of a first time rocketeer wanting to build an "L" class rocket. A gradual progression into higher class rockets is much safer and allows for a natural learning curve.
